Our History Timeline
Doki-Doki Radio's history can be traced back to a small internet radio station from Naga City, Philippines named **Ghost Zone Radio**...
GZR was renamed **The Zone Radio** which broadcasts on a small power at 105.5Mhz in Naga City, still playing pop and soundtrack hits.
The station underwent several renamings and reformattings: **Zone105** (2008), **Kiss108** (2009), **Zone FM** (2010), before finally merging back into **Zone FM** (2011) playing pop hits.
A new station was born: **Doki-Doki Radio**. It launched at 96.7MHz in Taguig City, focusing on anime hits and JPop.
The predecessor of DDR's flagship show, **"Mama Mo Talkshow"**, began airing. Past episodes were later uploaded to YouTube (June 5, 2024).
Mama Mo Talkshow aired its season finale, and Doki-Doki Radio temporarily signed off to move to a new location.
Doki-Doki Radio signed on again on its **new frequency (101.7 MHz)**, its new location (**Naic, Cavite**), and its new format (**Pop, Top40, KPop, JPop**).
